Key video

As i had very little to no experience in editing the process in creating "trapped room" was tricky but doable. there was a lot of button pressing involved to test what they actually did. after i figured out what i wanted to use the process became a little easier but i still had a long way. first of all i created a timeline to see what part should go where so during the process i already knew where the recordings should go. doing this part was a huge help as the clips weren't coordinated in any way and it makes putting it together a lot easier. after i put the clips in the right spot i wrote down ideas of how i wanted to put it together. having tons of ideas gave a lot of freedom in what i could do. in the end i decided to choose a horror type feel to the key video. i went with a greyscale with a green tint to give that gloomy feel to it. a lot of my video transitions involved the same effect called "dip to black". i used the effect frequently as i already had the plan to add the "dong" sound effect in-between cuts. i added the camera screen effect over the top to make it look like its being recorded and gives the effect of being followed and watched. i think the final product could have been better if i had more time. my time and knowledge was very limited and used it to my potential as much as i could. i could improve the sound effects to blend in more and have a smother feel overall. due to the fact that i also joined this course and project late i didn't get the rundown of what to do in the beginning. that made it more challenged and also gave me even less time to get the project done
